Who is EMMA 2 suitable for?
Similar to IDA and EMMA 1, also EMMA 2 is highly suitable for intensive care of children with pronounced disabilities. It offers particular advantages when a child is not able to sit up (spasticity of limbs, IPC, muscle hypotonia, tetraparesis, persistent vegetative state). EMMA 2 has low lattices which prevent less active children from falling out of the cot.
Medical care & therapy
The lattices can be lowered from either one or both sides so that in a matter of emergency intervention is possible from both sides. The height adjustment from 45 cm to 105 cm (height mattress top) makes EMMA 2 the right bed for care and therapy.
The space underneath the cot of 66 cm offers carers in a wheelchair ideal access.
