The protection of our environment as well as a sustainable use of raw materials are important goals for us. For us it isn't enough to just stick to legislation and legal rules. For us avoiding harm to the environment is our conviction and part of our DNA.
Our responsibility starts when it comes to choosing the raw materials for our products. We only use sustainable raw materials that are biodegradable. The basis of all of our care cots is beech wood which we obtain from certified and sustainable forestry. None of this material goes to waste, any cut offs and saw dusts are being pressed into pellets which get used for heating.

"One bed - one tree" - In coorporation with the competence centre for organic farming in Lower Saxony we plant a new tree for every bed sold.

From planting just a few trees to reforestation of entire forests we support planting trees on organic farms. Every planted tree or bush is an investment into our future. Blooming bushes and trees offer food and habitat for insects and birds.

The planting campaigns regularly get carried out involving school classes or other groups.

We cover 100% of our electricity demand with energy from renewable sources. By optimising our work processes and our raw material purchasing, we have been able to almost completey eliminate our CO₂ emissions.

Additionally, we have turned app. 4,500 qm of fallow land into a wildflower meadow for bees and have also planted 50 different types of fruit trees. Our passion goes way beyond the manufacturing of our products: the ecological preservation of our home, the Luneburg Heath.

We also work closely with our suppliers to make sure they share our efforts when it comes to our environment. We carry out regular audits for environmental and safety protection as well as quality relevant processes and develop solutions together.
